Lochside Theatre is a producing / receiving venue in the former St Andrew’s church which was converted in 1996 by members of three local drama / musical groups. The two hundred seat auditorium is has a regular programme of music, drama, dance, and cinema. Check out what's on at their website.

Kirkcudbright is only 7 miles from Gatehouse and is well worth a visit. Famed for it reputation as a haven for artists, this harbour town, with its castle and beautiful scenery is well worth a visit.
